Bluetooth Mouse Privacy Policy
Bluetooth Mouse is designed to work directly between your iPhone or Android phone and a device you approve over Bluetooth.
Our privacy approach
Sarcomere does not upload your mouse or keyboard input, control preferences, or paired-host records to its servers. Bluetooth Mouse has no advertising or app account and does not track you across apps or websites. Store purchases and billing diagnostics are handled by Apple or Google as described below.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the settings needed to remember your choices, including onboarding status, pointer and scrolling preferences, keyboard settings, appearance, haptics, reconnection preferences, and Mouse Jiggler settings.
For approved hosts, the iOS app stores an opaque CoreBluetooth identifier, your local label/category, approval date, and selected device. The iOS identifier is not a verified name, serial number, MAC address, account, model, or location. Android stores the host Bluetooth address, local label/category, approval, and selected host. These records stay on your phone and are not uploaded to Sarcomere. Android excludes app data from system backup and device transfer.
Mouse and keyboard input
Touch gestures, clicks, scrolling, and keyboard input are processed on your phone and converted into standard Bluetooth mouse and keyboard reports. Those reports are sent directly to the host you approved.
Bluetooth Mouse does not keep a history of typed text. Text is held only briefly in memory while it is converted and transmitted. On iOS, the app may also send the iPhone's current battery percentage to the connected host through the standard Bluetooth Battery Service.
Bluetooth permission and background behavior
Bluetooth access is used to advertise or make the phone discoverable, access paired devices on Android, establish approved connections, send input, and reconnect to approved hosts. You can change Bluetooth or Nearby devices access in system Settings. When the app becomes inactive, it releases held keys and mouse buttons and stops Mouse Jiggler. iOS also stops monitoring battery changes and may keep its peripheral available for an approved host to reconnect. Android control requires the app to remain open.
Purchases
Pro purchases use Apple StoreKit on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. Apple or Google processes payment and manages the corresponding store account and purchase history under its own terms and privacy policy. Bluetooth Mouse reads verified entitlement status on-device to decide which features are available. Payment-card details are handled by the store and are not available to the app. Sarcomere does not operate a separate purchase-account service or upload signed receipts to its own server.
On Android, the app stores signed receipt data, purchase tokens, signatures, and the latest successful check time locally for ownership checks and temporary offline access. It acknowledges completed purchases through Google Play. Google's billing components also send billing-operation and diagnostic information to Google, including API results, random billing-session identifiers, and app, device, operating-system, locale, and network information, to operate, secure, and diagnose billing. Billing dependencies use Internet and network-state permissions. This network activity is separate from Bluetooth input.

Diagnostics and support
Bluetooth Mouse keeps temporary connection-performance diagnostics on the device. These can include connection state, a local device label, report counts and rate, latency, Bluetooth backpressure, and the last disconnect reason. They do not include typed text.
Bluetooth connection diagnostics leave the app only if you deliberately share or send them, for example through the iOS share sheet. Sarcomere receives them only if you choose to send them. This is separate from the Android billing-service diagnostics described above. If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you provide and use them only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Website hosting
The service hosting these pages may process ordinary connection logs, such as IP address, browser information, and timestamps, to deliver and secure the website. Sarcomere does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on these pages.
Deleting information
You can remove an approved host, reset approved devices, or reset control preferences in Bluetooth Mouse settings. Deleting the app, or clearing app storage on Android, removes its local data including cached receipts. Bluetooth permission and system bonds are controlled by iOS or Android and the host and may need to be removed separately. Store purchase records remain with Apple or Google so eligible purchases can be restored. Resetting or deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, including Monthly Pro or Annual Pro on iOS; manage renewal in the corresponding store account.
Children
Bluetooth Mouse is a general control utility intended for adults. No app account is required.
