Bluetooth Mouse Privacy Policy
Bluetooth Mouse is designed to work directly between your iPhone and a device you approve over Bluetooth.
Our privacy approach
Bluetooth Mouse does not collect personal data from the app, use advertising or analytics SDKs, operate a cloud account or tracking service, or sell or share personal data for advertising. We do not track you across apps or websites.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the settings needed to remember your choices, including onboarding status, pointer and scrolling preferences, keyboard settings, appearance, haptics, reconnection preferences, and Mouse Jiggler settings.
For approved host devices, the app may store an opaque identifier supplied by Apple's CoreBluetooth framework, a label and device category you choose, the approval date, and the selected device. The identifier is not a verified device name, serial number, MAC address, account, model, or location. This information stays on your iPhone and is not uploaded to Sarcomere.
Mouse and keyboard input
Touch gestures, clicks, scrolling, and keyboard input are processed on your iPhone and converted into standard Bluetooth mouse and keyboard reports. Those reports are sent directly to the host you approved.
Bluetooth Mouse does not keep a history of typed text. Text is held only briefly in memory while it is converted and transmitted. The app may also send the iPhone's current battery percentage to the connected host through the standard Bluetooth Battery Service.
Bluetooth permission and background behavior
Bluetooth access is used only to advertise Bluetooth Mouse, establish approved mouse and keyboard connections, send input, and reconnect to approved hosts. You can change Bluetooth access in iOS Settings. When the app becomes inactive, it releases held keys and mouse buttons, stops Mouse Jiggler, and stops monitoring battery changes. If automatic reconnect is enabled, iOS may keep the peripheral available for an approved host to reconnect.
Purchases
Pro purchases use Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment and manages Apple Account purchase history under Apple's terms and privacy policy. Bluetooth Mouse reads verified entitlement status on-device to decide which features are available. Sarcomere does not receive your Apple ID or payment-card details and does not maintain a separate purchase database.
Diagnostics and support
Bluetooth Mouse keeps temporary connection-performance diagnostics on the device. These can include connection state, a local device label, report counts and rate, latency, Bluetooth backpressure, and the last disconnect reason. They do not include typed text.
Diagnostics leave the app only if you deliberately use the iOS share sheet. Sarcomere receives them only if you choose to send them. If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you provide and use them only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Website hosting
The service hosting these pages may process ordinary connection logs, such as IP address, browser information, and timestamps, to deliver and secure the website. Sarcomere does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on these pages.
Deleting information
You can remove an approved device, reset all approved devices, or use Reset entire app in Bluetooth Mouse settings. Deleting the app removes its local data. Bluetooth permission and bonds are controlled by iOS and the host device and may need to be removed separately. StoreKit purchase records remain with Apple so eligible purchases can be restored.
Children
Bluetooth Mouse is not designed to collect personal information from children or adults, and no account is required.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app's features or legal requirements change. The revised effective date will appear above. For privacy questions or requests, contact Sarcomere at sarcomerestore@gmail.com.
